DISABILITIES SOCIAL CARE WORKER

The role of the Disabilities Social Care Worker (Hereafter referred to
as DSCW) is to work directly with children while contributing to the
day-to-day running of the residential centre. The DSCW will retain an
integral practice role and ensure that the highest quality of care is
provided to young people. The role will also require administrative
duties as well as responsibilities pertaining to the progression,
practice and implementation of Placement Plan objectives for young
people, ensuring that they are receiving the agreed quality and
quantity services. The DSCW will be accountable for the centre
functioning in the absence of the Centre Manager (PIC), Deputy Manager
(DPIC) Social Care Leader (SCL).

APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS:

* A recognised professional qualification to minimum level 7
* One year?s experience in a residential setting or two years
combined experience working with young people within a community
disability setting or similar.
* Hold a full driving licence.

CARE ASSISTANT ? DISABILITY SERVICES

Care Assistants will have an integral practice role guided on a daily
basis by the Social Care Leaders (SCL), Deputy Manager (DPIC) and
Centre Manager (PIC) and will ensure that the highest quality of care
is provided to children in our care. The role will require
administrative duties as well as responsibilities pertaining to the
care of the children. The role will also involve a combination of
daytime hours and awake night hours which will be determined by the
needs of the centre.

APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS:

* A recognised professional Social Care or Health Care related
qualification to FETAC Level 5 or above.
* One year?s experience in a residential setting or two years
combined experience working with young people within a community
disability setting or similar.
* Hold a full driving licence.
